First, i just love that new version, everything works perfectly. The new server for lyrics is great, i find almost everything.

I have a feature request : the possibility to have more than one instance of the panel. I know it s quite a lot of work but it would be awesome. I would allow me to create a popup for lyrics on my second display(video projector) with bigger font for easy reading.

Is there something that would display the current line on the bottom right edge (or somewhere else) of the screen to make a karaoke (and perhaps based on PrettyPopup (http://www.maroonspoon.com/foo_prettypop/)) ?

Also, I would like to know more about embedded lyrics : I understood that it will read first tag, then directory, etc.

What happens when no local datas are found? Where are they stored? Do not tell me it's reloaded each time, I would not believe you! Is there a way to auto embed them in file? And finally, is there a way to view them before downloading to file?

I've had this problem off and on since installing the component.

1. Now this feature is not implemented, I'll add it later, thanks.
2. When no local datas are found(tag or association or dir), Lyrics show panel will perform a Internet search(in a new thread, only if "Internet -> Download automatically" is checked), and then prefered download .lrc files, if there's no .lrc file, choose one .txt file to download.
3. they are stored depends on your "Internet -> Save scheme" setting. default is "embed to file", but there's  a problem when writing tags: It's OK when you've download 20 items (the number of lyrics in cache is set to 20), it will write the last 20 track's lyrics to there tags. However, when fb2k is shutting down, it always failed to write tags. So on a later release, I'll fix it.
If embed failes(such as the filter which matches "Setting -> skip w/r tags by filetypes", mslive:// or unpack:// protocol), Lyrics show panel will perform the action which you've set in "Internet -> if embed failes"
As of the "embed" is not stable, I recommend that use "Save lyrics to dictory", it's fast and stable.
4. Now you can't view lyrics before downloading, but I'll implement soon.

Oh! Another Idea : that would be cool to change the display (and not only the color and global font) of the different line : the highlighted line could be in big, while other could be in small. Would be funner with a size gradient on the line, so that it looks like this :

btw. I found that other lyric displaying (and editing) plugins for other audio programs have submission feature and your doesn't have.

Do you think it is good lyrics site? Many links pointing to the site itself aren't working. There are no submit lyrics function. However, I have to admit that when your plugin was using previous lyrics database I wasn't able to find timestamped lyrics for some of my favourite songs. After change, 99% of my songs have timestamped lyrics. I'm just wondering how those lyrics got there, when there's no upload page.

Has there been any progress correcting the following problems?

I encounter this problems in the latest version (0.3.1.1b6).
-ClearType/AA doesn't work with my preferred font, Calibri. It's works with every other font I've tried, but not Calibri.
-The lyrics panel is scrollable with the arrow keys except when it's tabbed using foo_uie_tabs (v. 0.2.5).

I am using the latest DEV version, but ClearType still doesn't work with the font Calibri. Trackpoint drag also doesn't work. I guess it just wasn't meant to be.

I also organize my music this way and encounter the same problem. I add all the music by the artist in question to the playlist then select it all, right click, properties, change the name to "Fiona Apple" for example, then get the lyrics, then change it back. It's kind of a hassle, but it works.
