Crash, but without the crash

After using foobar for some time, or sometimes after importing a new file. I try to play it, and it simply doesnt play.  The log doesnt read anything unusual, but it just doesnt play. And it wont until i reboot.  Ive checked it all and nothing seems outta line.

Your help is greatly appreciated,

Ibiza

Which output meathod are you using? It is possible that another application or Windows is hogging DirectSound (if that is what you are using) when trying to open files in Foobar. Try changing the output mode when this happens again, and see if you are able to output to another source (Kernal Streaming, WaveOut, etc.)

You could also try changing the output bit depth, your sound card may have issues whith the mode Foobar is using.
