Difference between Audio CD Writer and Diskwriter

While developing my  advanced gap killer plugin i recognized a difference regarding dsp resetting between the audio cd writer and the diskwriter:

The diskwriter correctly sends the 'end_of_track' flag if 'don't reset dsp between files' is checked, whereas the audio cd writer seems to ignore this setting and always sends 'flush' between tracks. That means: No overlapping cd tracks.

I know, that i can work around this by writing wav's with the diskwriter and burn these with the audio cd writer, but i'd like to avoid this extra step.

Btw. is there a chance to get the song titles to the Nero Cover Designer without hassle?
