when i type foobar skips songs

whne i type like this after every 10th key press the song kinda skips. it stops and then starts again really quickly like grhhh for half a second.

when not typing playback is ok.

this is with mp3 and mpc havent tried any other formats

like? it didnt do it before and now it does it. lol

what shall i say. when i type in any program so always this happens. with any key afer a number of times completly random. foobar is set up with normal stuff didndt change anything but the look which always worked. using 24bit out no dsp wav out also tried direct sound out.

using audigy 2 zs latest drivers
nforece 2 mobo
barton 2800
loada ram 1GB
new hd using sata which works super fast and find.


did anyone else have this before when typing?
i dont understand why windows media player works and not foobar?

its late now going to bed will play around with it tomorrow.

oh 1 week old winxp install as well. all stable did loads of testing

oh, and check your global-hotkeys...... especially the ones used for volume-control.

Sounds like a problem with audigy 24bit output. Please switch to 16bit output.

no thats not it. morning by the way.

i also got rid of all kotkey entries. still doesnt work.

i am confused. must be something i installed cause it did work beforehand, but i dont understand how because foobar uses its own stuff for everything and is seperate from all other plugins etc.

cause windows media player works fine.  not the end of the world i can life without music playback and foobar, as long and tagging, converting/encoding, freedb, work all is not lost

that reminds me...... i didnt try restarting yet 

have to wait till tonight to see if it works
