Capturing Audio only from TV Card

Hi

I have a Hauppauge Win-tv pci card and wish to just capture the audio stream from a vcr via the co-axial input on the back of the card. The audio is fed from the card into Line-in on my sound card, is this possible?

I have various bits of software that can capture just the video stream but not just audio.

thanks

CJ

You just need a program with WAV-capturing ability. You can use the Audio recorder that comes with Windows for that. Choose Line-In in your recording settings and launch a Video application (for playback). Alternatively, you can use WinTV Source Selector for the last step.

You can also use a software like GoldWave for capture and even post process the audio.
