Any plugin to reduce album gain before converting to mp3?

As the title says :-)
Is there any plug-in to reduce album gain a bit before using the converter for flac -> mp3?
I'm asking it because I've run the analyzer from http://www.dynamicrange.de/ on a series of recently mastered cd's just to find that the original flacs are at 0.00dB or even (much worst) some of them have lots of overs!.
They recommend to lower the gain of the original material just before converting to mp3, with the argument that the conversion process changes the waveform in somewhat unpredictable ways that are almost sure to cause clipping on the mp3, if the originals were too close to 0.00dB. Let alone if they were already clipped!!!
So I wanted to know if it exists a DSP plug-in to insert in the converter chain/preset that allows to lower gain before converting.

Thanks a lot for the info.

On the Processing Tab of the converter you can adjust the replayGain processing.

More specifically, you can set a lower preamp value.

Oh! Thanks a lot!
That was fast!
Somehow I've overlooked the pre-replay gain section of the converter.
Thanks!
