Low pass audibility poll

This poll is inspired by a whole pile of recent threads about high sample rate audio formats.

Please abide by the following rules:
  • You may use any sample you want, as long as it's something you could legitmately call music.
  • You may use any listening volume you want.
  • If possible, use the equipment you use for listening to music in your daily life.
  • Be honest. Sure, it's a forum poll and proves nothing, but honesty would still be appreciated.
  • Post ABX logs, details of your system, and links to the samples you used, if possible.
A good place to start is the Mustang sample (conveniently available in a bunch of ready-to use versions) from ff123's samples for testing page. I can ABX (10/10) 17kHz on this sample, but only if I take significant breaks between tests - I lose the ability if I do the whole lot at once.

sample: Venetian Snares - Remi (from Doll Doll Doll, link: http://www.mediafire.com/?xmeuhlw1itp)
low pass frequency: 18 khz

foobar2000 0.9.4.5 --> SB live 5.1 --> AKG K81DJ

There is tonal content up there at about 8 seconds in. Thus it's very easy to abx.
I just can abx it with my right ear as I have some problems hearing stuff above 16khz with my left ear.

btw, this is a good killer sample for lame in vbr-mode. Try it at -V5.

I can't abx the mustang sample @ 16khz, at least not with my current headphones (they are very bass heavy).
