Ripping hidden track CD's

Ive tried searching for this, but wasnt really sure on what to search for, so I wanted to know the different ways of ripping a CD which has tracks that when played in a player show -00:30 then count down to zero then the track starts.
EAC would be my first choice, foobar(from image+cue) my second choice but if neiter of these has a viable solution are there any recommendations for other software?

Are you talking about "Hidden Track One Audio? If so, rip to an image in EAC or, if you wish to use separate tracks, do the rip in the usual way, followed by a range extraction of the first track's pregap. Alternatively, you could choose to append gaps to the tracks following them. I assume, of course, that your drive is capable of reading the data stored before the "official" start of the first track; either way, foobar2000 does not support it.

If you are simply talking about audio lying between tracks' INDEX 00 and 01s, most programs should already rip it, but will not store timing information about the pregaps - i.e. the "count down" which you described. EAC can definitely store indices within cuesheets; however, I am not sure if foobar2000 can.

I wasnt actaully talking about HTOA only, but all such audio between any 2 tracks, on some CD's I own this countdown from -mm:ss to zero contains either silence or audio for the following track. when converting from the image to seperate files for use on a portable player I want to in the case of silence have a seperate track labeled as [silence], or if it contains audio for the preceding or following track append the audio accordingly.
