Lyrics are turned on, but after delete .lrc file I can't click option "open directory", which means there's no file xDD I also scanned whole disk for copy of file, but there's no results ;o

And did you select the song > Right click > Properties ; to check to see if you have embedded the lyrics into a <lyrics> field?

Check your tag field such as UNSYNCED LYRICS and LYRICS, depend on your setting in Lyric show, and also check if you turned on "automatically search" in Internet Tab.

For some reason, this component messes with apostrophes. It puts them at the bottom where periods usually are. Does anyone else have this issue?

No for this is not UI element for DUI.
Yes for here's a component called docakable panels, which can hold CUI extension in an sperate window

Oddly enough, some apostrophes show up fine, but others don't. I haven't figured out why o.O. Here is a written example for testing if you want:

The one's that are not working [I'll] are not apostrophes [']. Don't know what keyboard character it is, but if you erase and replace all is well

Really o.O?? This lyric example is one that I had written out myself with my keyboard. I had used the character that is right beside the Enter button for BOTH entries, and only one of them had messed up. I didn't realize they were different characters haha. Doesn't make sense, but it'll be a pain in the butt to fix all my lyrics that have this problem.

Can these "unknown" characters be fixed tho TP?

Those are accents not apostrophes.

But I can see one thing that "’" is in "SBC case"(takes two bytes), that means if you don't have mapped your font to a eastern font, I think it's not possible to display these characters except use a unicode / eastern font.

Thanks! I found them. They're embedded in file, but only in foobar. When I check Properties of file, (not in foobar, in windows) "Lyrics" field is empty. Is there any way to embed lyrics in file automatically?

Good man! That fixed me right up. No idea why those stupid @ fonts are there... they screwed with my Panels layout a while back too. But anyways, thanks TP .

Yeah, but it embed lyric to file in foobar, but when I click "Properties" on file on Windows, there's a blank place in "Lyrics"...

I have a problem with the autoscroll. it doesn't work. It does scroll when I open the preferences window window, well at least for one moment. I could go and open the preference window a million times evertime I want the lyrics to scroll, but that's not exactly nice.
The zh-CH_special version of foo_uie_lyrics.dll 3.1.1 seems to work fine...but I can't find an english working version...

edit: even that strange language (which only gives blocks on my PC) doesn't seem to work now  and i'm using the latest version of columns plugin.

edit: it seems like it's just not refreshing the lyrics panel. Might be some setting...anybody has a clue which one?

edit2:strangely enough when i locked and unlocked the panel, it seems to work again...

There is already Text Display (foo_textdisplay) which supports lyrics, comments etc. and works well for the default UI.

dypsis: but doesn't support scrolling, LRC lyrics  I just want to new SDK be out, so this kind of components (Lyrics Show Panel) will be as UI Elements…

can you add a float window like lyricist do? or just add a option to scroll the lyrics vertically but not horizontally?

Lyrics not scrolling

Hi all - posted this in the general 3rd party forum last week, but I guess I should have put it here.



Just installed lyric show. Am using default ui and dockable panels for the lyrics.

At first install lyrics scrolled. Then I changed the align from center to left, changed some font and background colors and no more scroll. Changed back to center, back to default fonts, still no scroll. Maybe I changed some other settings, not sure. What are the defaults, so I can go back to where it was at the start? Or should I uninstall and reinstall? Does this mean just removing the dll, running foobar, and then reinstalling the dll?  Thanks

PS - scrolling is enabled.

Can you try 0.3.3.2 and enable "Output verbose debugging information" in the configruation and post log in your console? (All related information is started with "foo_uie_lyrics:")
