MAD decoder and MP3s with bad CRCs

I have following problem. I'm using MAD input plugin in Winamp and it refuses to play some files, eg. the position indicator is moving but no sound is heard and in statistics CRC errors are growing and growing :-(
On MAD page is recommended to recalculate frame CRCs but till now I haven't found any program that would check and repair missing or incorrect frame CRCs. MP3TrimPro should do this (according to features) but I'd like to check if there's free utility to do this.
Or maybe someone can recommend me other way how to reconstruct frame CRCs.
