Convert stereo to 5.1 DSP

Hey people so I was wondering if there is a(or will be) a DSP that will Convert stereo to 5.1? There is one that converts stereo to 4 channels and from 5.1 to stereo but no stereo to 5.1. I would really enjoy one.

I've had good results with foo_channel_mixer.
That's so plausible, I can't believe it.

You can use the matrix mixer.

or the channel mixer

With the VST adapter you can use the V.I STEREO TO 5.1 CONVERTER VST PLUGIN SUITE

There are also professional upmix plugins that can be used with the vst adapter.

Another upmix plugin can be found here:

Not all upmix dsp use the LFE Channel but you can combine the channel mixer with every dsp in in order to get the LFE channel.
