Replacement Cable for HD595

Hi.

I was wondering if I could get hold of a replacement cable for my HD595's. It's because the pin is slightly bent, and I think in the next month it's just going to mess up the sound.

Are there such things as replacement cables? Do I need a specific Sennheiser cable or will any headphone cable work? And will repair shops replace it for me?

Does the HD595 come with a detachable cable?  If it does then it's just  question of buying a replacement cable from Sennheiser.

If it does not come with a detachable cable then I suggest you contact Sennheiser for your options.  I imagine you can buy a replacement cable from them or even make a cable yourself.  However, repairing a non-detachable cable yourself can be tricky.  Sennheiser seems to be a decent company with good customer service so they can probably replace it for a sensible price.

Yeah, I saw that. It's just that I'm not willing to do that myself. I'm quite retarded at things like that.

Then just send it to Sennheiser for a repair.

Sorry to bring back an old thread, but my question seems very relevant: Does anyone know if Sennheiser sells replacement HD-595 cables in the UK market? I googled about but found no UK retailers, or any information on their UK website.

Mine is beginning to crackle too, and I'm rather unwilling to buy one of these expensive snake-oil replacement cables, when the bundled one worked fine before.

Just call Sennheiser and ask them.  They'll probably have a spare parts section.
