EAC Burning Error: Invalid field in CDB

When using BurnProof in EAC the cd-r will burn all the way to the end then produce this error.  As I am trying to compute the write offset when using the wavs off of the burnt copy the Compare Wav window produces no result also

Can anyone further explain what is happening?

Is it possible for my drive to be able to rip but not burn wavs through EAC?

I found what was going on to be the Cdrdao option needed to be enabled.  This seems to have fixed the problem as the burn finished successfully.
