EAC and Virtual CD (Alcohol 120%, Daemon Tools etc.)

Is it worthy to use such software to make a CD image and than rip it with EAC from virtual drive or will it be inaccurate and EAC will miss some errors, and the ripping will only seem to be accurate and secure?

how do you know that the image created by Alcohol 120%, Daemon Tools etc. is accurate?

Using EAC to create the image will make it much more likely to have a accurate rip

So if EAC tells that there is a read error and then a sync error, it is all over with that CD, am I right?
Edit: Maybe there is a software that can make an accurate ISO or some other kind of images of CD which than could be ripped by EAC without errors? Or is EAC an "ultimate authority" in solving this problem?

EAC tells that there is a read error and then a sync error and then in log it is written: "There were errors". When I made an MDF image by Alcohol 120% and then ripped this CD from Virtual drive there were no errors. I wonder if EAC just couldn't detect errors from virtual drive or Alcohol copies CD without errors better than EAC does.

Alcohol has not detected the errors and written them to the image as the correct value.

EAC has therefore reported no errors as the return it gets from reading the image is consistent.  Unfortunately, the suspect areas are (or may be) consistently wrong.

In other words, the fault lies with Alcohol not ripping securely, and writing potential errors to the image as the correct value.

Edit: In re-reading your intial post I see that you already suspected this.

If you are trying to use this method to get a secure rip rom EAC you are sorely mistaken.  You should rip the disc with EAC, end of.  Try cleaning the disc.

And you should use EAC's secure mode (press F10), not burst, paranoid or fast.
