Windows Media Player can read it but EAC can't?

When I put rip disks to my computer I do it twice. Once with Windows Media Player for use with my MP3 player and on the computer and once with EAC for archiving purposes. If I ever encounter a problem in one of the MP3 files from WMP I just encode one of my FLACs from EAC into an MP3. However, one of the tracks on one of my disks is giving me problems. WMP ripped it into an MP3 with no problems (well, I'm sure there are problems, but not audible problems). EAC, however, keeps giving my a Read Error and a Sync Error. The disk is a little dirty so it's probably having problems with that. Is there any way to tell it to be slightly more lenient when ripping? I'd rather have an imperfect rip than no rip and I know it's possible to get off there since WMP.

Drive Settings -> rip in burst mode.
