custom equalizer presets for death metal

i'm looking for some good EQ for Death Metal. i'm not a professional so can't make such "good" settings but i think those standart (those which you always link if someone ask for eq) has very poor death.feq and medicore metal.feq
as i say i'm not a profesional so i could be wrong.
but i would like to have Death Metal EQ made by some Death Metaller. not a standart programer who listen rock or pop and doesn't really know much about Death Metal

If your speakers ans listening environment are good, the best EQ setting is:
disable the equalizer

If your speakers are not good, the setting depends on your speakers. There is no one-setting-fits-all. If someone tells you there is one, he lies

On the taskbar in Foobar: Go to View/Equalizer,Equalizer enabled and simply adjust the appropriate sliders in foobars 18 band equalizer in real time to optimize the sound to your liking. You may have to make some compromises between the ultimate "Death" and "Metal" frequency response (LOL) but at least you'll be close to what you consider to be the best sound for the genre(s). Hit "store preset" and give the *.feq file a name and you're in business.

thx. propably will turn off my EQ. my equpment is quite good  and i'm just realize that some song from last.fm sounds better than the same from my foobar

btw. anyway if someone will try to make some good EQ for death, would be great if he could do EQ also for grindcore

Hmm, I don't use an EQ for all of my music.  I listen to a lot of death/black metal and it sounds normal.  Keep in mind whenever I download music it's by full albums and usually lossless or another form of higher than average quality.

I think you should configure your EQ to the best of YOUR ability to match your soundcard and speakers to what YOU think sounds best on your setup.  Try downloading higher quality music too,  considering you thought a last.fm stream was better than one on your library.

What sounds good to one's setup might sound crap to others' setups. Only you can determine the best setting for your setup.
