Wireless Speaker Solution

Maybe someone can help.  I've been looking for a way to take my 5.1 surround system (basic Sony home theater system) and use a wireless device to exend the rear left and rear right channels.  The speaker output on my receiver is the barewire type connector.  I'd like to be able to use the existing speakers if possible.

Seems that most everything I find is more intended for using an Aux output or for streaming PC music to my stereo via wireless.  There are some systems like LG and Logitech that are complete surround systems with all or rear wireless options but I'd need to replace most of my existing gear.

Any ideas?
