Paid version of Izotope Ozone for Winamp won't load!

I know Foobar is the player of choice around here and I'd really like to use it eventually, but I'm still using Win98SE (98Lite) and Winamp for now.  If anyone can solve this problem I'd be very appreciative because I'm stumped.  I tried the free version of Izotope Ozone a few weeks ago and liked it so I bought the full version.  Worked great, loved it.  Two days ago I was having some minor computer issues so I used Norton Ghost to reload a disk image of my OS and programs in their most pristine condition (done this many times over the years).  I installed Ozone and opened Winamp (v5.24) to activate it but I got an 'error loading module' pop-up box.  To make a long story short, I've tried all of the following but none have worked:

Installing the free version (which worked) and then installing the paid version after
Uninstalling (including registry references) and reinstalling it
Uninstalling Winamp (including registry references) and reinstalling and then trying Ozone again
Dowloading the paid version setup file again in case my version had become corrupt somehow (grasping at this point)
I probably tried something else as well but whatever it was it didn't work.

As you can see in the attached image it's not even showing up correctly in Winamp's plugin preferences.  It *should* say "Izotope Ozone" on the left with "dsp_iZOzone.dll" inside brackets on the right, but instead it shows some weird hieroglyphic junk.  I found that the 'Winamp.pic' file lists the DSPs in use so I opened it in a text editor and tried changing the name to what it should be but that didn't have any effect either.

I have no idea why this is happening.  Does anyone have any ideas?

1. I know I can contact iZotope support, but I doubt they'd get back to me until next week.  I wanted to try to get it resolved over the weekend.  Enough people use Ozone that I thought someone might have encountered the problem.

2. There's nothing wrong with my 98lite version of Win98.  XP seemed bloated to me so I never bothered getting it, and that whole 'activation' thing bothered me.  My OS install takes up less than 50 MB and is blazingly fast.  I don't have any issues and other than not being able to run the newest Foobar I've never had a need to upgrade.  Now that Vista is just around the corner I'll just wait on that and see how it's received.

3.  I solved the problem.  Not sure why it had anything to do with it, but it was my sound driver.  I updated it and now Ozone loads.

From the Ozone Knowledgebase:

"Sometimes, your choice of sound driver can affect OzoneMP's performance, or even bypass OzoneMP.  Check your media player's options screen to see what different drivers are available to play back through.  See if playback improves under a different driver."

OT: If you say that XP is too bloated and that the activation thing bothered you, I don't understand why you would upgrade to Vista which is said to be more "bloated" than XP and also requires activation.

What I meant was that I wasn't interested in upgrading to XP when it first came out for those reasons, and with Vista almost ready for release it probably wouldn't make a whole lot of sense at this point to finally upgrade to an OS that's been out since 2001.  At some point it'll probably become inevitable that I'll have to upgrade, so I'll just wait and see how things with Vista play out.  For this pc Win98 is fine though since it's basically just a giant jukebox.
