Making a corded Landline Telephone wireless

Hey guys I know this sounds sorta off the wall to ask but is there a way to make a corded phone wireless like any other wireless handset phones?  Just thought id ask lol I think this spot fits this topic lol

Sure. You take the phone, throw it away, and replace it with a cordless phone. Voila, instant conversion.

Pretty much what Otto42 said.

I think I know what you're trying to ask though.  You want to know if there's a cheaper solution than that, i.e. some "wireless adapter" into the wall, and another "adapter" into the phone.  No such device exists currently, AFAIK.  Cordless phones are extremely cheap these days, and multiple unit phones are coming down heavily in price.  These are phones that have a second unit with just a charging base (phone line is connected to 1st unit's base).

Just remove all the wiring and cables and you have a kick-ass wireless phone (that doesn't do anything, but it's still wireless).

EDIT: and it's VERY cheap.
