Wavpack Tags in Windows Media Player 10

Does anybody know where I could find a Wavpack tag reader for Windows Media Player 10?  I have the directshow filter, but it doesn't support the reading of Wavpack's APEv2 tags into WMP10.

I don't use WMP myself, but there is a WMP plugin which adds APEv2 tag reading capabilities to WMP. It's called WMPTSE, and the thread about it is here :

I installed the plugin, and it works, to a certain extent... I was ripping CD's into wavpack, and i retagged them all today.  However, WMP kept the same tags i had before.  I even renamed a file, and after playing it in WMP, it still had the old tag.  Any help?

Yeah, that's a special "optimisation" feature of the WMP db....

There's a cache to recently added files.

So there's two solution to counter this behaviour :
1) remove/readd the file in WMP (delete it only in the library)
and if it doesn't suffice : 2) supress the library entirely and readd all your files

In any case, if you use WMPTSE, i really advise you tu use it as tag editor. Otherwise, you'll have to do these action very often...

And please, USE the dedicated forum to report bugs....

I see... but i use foobar2000 to get the tags from freedb, and i love the support it has for wavpack.  I don't use it normally because it doesn't have a media library, so i like to use windows media player sometimes.  Is there any way to have WMP scan the folders periodically (i.e. once a minute)?

It may exist, but it will be really CPU consuming to do this if you get a large collection, could you imagine the load it represent (for +2000 files it may certainly be noticeable) ?
