Could there be anything on audio CDs which EAC isn't able to write ? No 'serial number' available there.
As far as I know, UPC is a 'catalogue number' for audio CDs...
I know that I know nothing. But how can I then know that ?

oh i think that but there's also an eight-digit serial number 'unique' for each audio and data cd. as i experienced this number is _never_ stored anywhere in any cuesheet and also it is never available in any burning program, though i think this must be user-selectable if that's true clone-cd related software can produce a 1:1 copies.
proper serial number would make the cd ready for further lookups in any form of cd-db

Do you think to CDDB Disc ID? It's an eight digit number. But the CD doesn't contain that number burnt in itself. It is always calculated from the track layout (TOC).
There are some software which show that number, for example:
- Disc ID Calculator, http://webplaza.pt.lu/~vigatol/discidcalc/ (Works with Nero ASPI)
- CDrun (Audio CD Player, homepage was www.amberror.it, but it's not available)
- CD Text Manager, http://cdtext.galleytech.com/

Is it an answer to you?

Thanks, seems be it.

example:

║ Total bytes                        0
║ Free bytes                         0
║ Volume label                Audio CD
║ Serial number              01CF-319D

==>

cdplayer.ini
[1CF319D]
entryType=1
numTracks=20
category=alt. rock
0=
.
.
.

If the number in red can't be affected by burning then sorry for asking that.

I checked that number in cdplayer.ini. It is the same number as called "Volume ID" in CDrun, and same as called "Serial" in CD-Text Manager. The "CDDB Disc ID" is a different number, it's called "CDDB Disc ID" in CDrun, "DiscID" in DiscID Calculator, and "CDDB" in CD-Text Manager.

As far as I know, these numbers can't be affected by burning, but perhaps someone else could also verify this. Cheers.
