Exact Audio Copy and CloneCD, ...

Hello,

I have about 500 AUDIO CD backups made with CloneCD and Alcohol 120% softwares. I want to copy all these CDs on my hard disk drive (with EAC and MAC). I'm wondering if these copies are exact copies like EAC copies.

Thanks

CloneCD and Alcohol (any burning app by the way) reads CDDA in buffered burst mode (maybe with sector resynch) so the result will depend on the ripping conditions (drive, CD etc.) - the copies can be excellent and accurate but can also be full of errors (audible or inaudible).

All you can do is create a bit-true copy of your source using EAC ... and you know nothing about the source's source itself.
The name was Plex The Ripper, not Jack The Ripper

Maybe if you told us what drive(s) where used to rip those CDs, we would have a better idea of how accurate those copies could be (thera are a few drives that are very reliable, even in burst mode)
I'm the one in the picture, sitting on a giant cabbage in Mexico, circa 1978.
