Create CUE sheet from MP3...

Hi, I ripped a Live DVD in WAV, I mean, I extracted only the audio files, then a converted them, the hole WAV file to MP3 file, always in one big file.
Now I wanted to create the cuesheet so I can play song by song with foobar2000. Without the cuesheet I can only play the hole big file without selecting the songs.

In EAC, for my live and mixed cds I use the option "Copy Image & Create CUE Sheet" but that only works for CDs... not for mp3 files that are already ripped.

So I think that I have to listen to the full mp3 file and write where the songs stars, song by song, no?

The question is... is it possible to do that, what program can I use to listen to the mp3 files and then make the CUESheet.

Could this programs be the solution for my problem?
mp3DirectCut 1.34
CDRCue Cuesheet Editor 1.3
CueEd 2000

Thank you...  n68, dreamliner77 and AtaqueEG for your previous answers, maybe your answers are the same as my other post. I'll try this programs, but tell me if I'm right or not, thanks again...
Greetings
Sonny Burnett.

You need to edit the CUE sheet EAC created and delete the line:
Code: [Select]
FILE "CDImage.wav" WAVE

and replace it with
Code: [Select]
FILE "CDImage.mp3" WAVE

or whatevet your big mp3 file's name is.

atici, I didn't use EAC to make the cuesheet, as I said... I ripped a DVD in a hole big file, and know I want to create the cuesheet so I can play song by song with my foobar2000 player.
Thanks anyway

Hmm I see. Sorry. I guess you need to write your own CUE file. To do this you need to figure out where the tracks start and end by seeking manually and then translate this information into your cue sheet. I don't know of a better way because no program would know where the tracks are located.

I think so. You just have to find a more or less correct beginning time for each of the tracks. You can do this in Cool Edit Pro, with the Display Time Format set to Compact Disc 75 fps. This way you get a visualization of all the tracks and you don't have to listen to whole rip. Afterwards I just write a Cue sheet by hand. I think that you can also do this with mp3DirectCut in a more automated way, but I haven't used it.

The other question is, I tried to make a CUEsheet with the notepad but the times weren't correct.

I'm not sure I understood well, but it seems to me that you didn't use the right time format: Minutes:Seconds:Frames (0<=Frames<=74).

n68, you were right... CDRCue Cuesheet Editor 1.3 was the most powerful programs of all... it's really good, I'll stay with this one.
Thank you so much for your help
