How does foobar tag aac/mp4 files?

Found a post with a link to a plugin on Case's pages that wrote tags as itunes write them, but how how does the plugin that comes with foobar 0.7 write tags? I thought/hoped there was a clear standard (_one_ standard) according tags for aac/mp4 files, not an "itunes" way and "another" way?

The iTunes way is the only way and component included in foobar is the same as the one on my page.
