which CDR for burning speed 1x

does anyone have experience with 1x burning modern CDR as they are currently on the market?
what about TY from CMC?

Why? There is no reason to think this is somehow 'better'. Surely audio CD reading happens near that speed, but burners are optimized for higher speeds. Could very well be burns at 1x are worse than at 'normal' speeds.
Music: sounds arranged such that they construct feelings.

Burning at lower speeds was the conventional wisdom back in the day, no more than 4x for psx supposedly because of a weak laser. But that was when most drives didn't have 8x write, maybe early models that could had issues and the lore stuck.
