Cambridge Audio Topaz cd5 CD Player not working

My CD player has stopped working….it does not respond when switched on?.I have checked power supply to unit and internal fuse to be ok!. but pressing on/off button does nothing?.I have checked power supply up to input to internal transformer to be ok.
Are there any other checks I can do?….how do I get my cell player working again?..all help welcome..thank you.

Contact the shop where you bought it to get info how and where to fix that? Or contact Cambridge Audio directly?

Depends on how much you know about electronics. I'd try to see if you can find a service manual for it perhaps even a schematic. Diagnosing from afar is kinda difficult, you could try to find datasheets to some of the chips and check whether voltage reaches them, etc. For that you need to know the pinout, hence the datasheet. Often, the PCBs have test points, the service manual will describe what sort of voltage levels or signals should be seen at those test points.
For more than just checking voltages and things like a coarse test of resistors, diodes, and caps, you either need an LCR meter to check caps for leakage and ESR. You can also test transistors with a multimeter, to see if they failed short or open. For more signal testing, you need an oscilloscope.
