Cannot connect to DLNA media server remotely over LTE and OpenVPN using iPhone

I have a music server at home, and when on my home wifi I can connect from my iPhone to that server without issue using foobar200 mobile (the server is automatically discovered in the Media Servers setup).  I'm running an OpenVPN server on my router, and when in my office at work on wifi I can also connect no problem to the media server, with OpenVPN connected on my iPhone.

However, what I really want to do is to enable remote playback when in my car using foobar2000 mobile on my iPhone.  When connected through OpenVPN and on LTE, my media server was not discovered, so I attempted to set it up manually by doing a long-press (when connected over wifi at home) to add the media server as a "User-specified server".  However, when away from home and connected via OpenVPN and LTE, clicking on that user-defined server does nothing, it can't connect.

I know that my OpenVPN is configured correctly, because I have another app that can connect to the media server in this environment (OpenVPN over LTE) and play back music files without issue.  That app doesn't read the album artwork though, hence trying to get foobar2000 mobile to work for this.

I'm hoping I just don't have the connection string (URL) set up correctly.  This is what it looks like:

http://10.0.0.116:8200/rootDesc.xml

Again, this was added to user-specified servers using a long press on the server in the local network section of the media servers setup dialog, and since I'm connected via OpenVPN I would have expected this string to work - as though I were on my home network.

I would greatly appreciate any help that anyone could provide - I’m so close to having the perfect setup for the car!
