Beginner looking for a guide of configuring EAC for Perfect Rips.

Hello

Could anyone reccomend a good, complete and up to date guide to configure EAC to do perfect rips (with accurate rip check included) in a approachable language and form? I am totally "anti - tech" and reading through guides i found starts to give me headache already .

The Hydrogenaudio Knowledgebase isn't fully up-to-date but many of the settings haven't changed in years

If you want an exhaustive list of what settings to check without having to understand exactly what each does, the closest will probably be the EAC Lossless Backup wiki page: https://wiki.hydrogenaud.io/index.php?title=EAC_Lossless_Backup

Using CUERipper instead of EAC is somewhat simpler, but none of the 2 will save you from headaches if you happen to have a problem disc.
It's not possible to abstract away all corner cases of CD ripping into a simple set-and-forget program. Adjust your expectations accordingly.
