Help: About the use of libfaad.so

hi all,
I want to use the faad lib in my code. But it does not work.
I use the command line : gcc -O3 -Iinclude main.c  -lfaad -o main

the result :

/usr/local/lib/libfaad.so: undefined reference to `log'
/usr/local/lib/libfaad.so: undefined reference to `cos'
/usr/local/lib/libfaad.so: undefined reference to `sin'
/usr/local/lib/libfaad.so: undefined reference to `pow'

help...
