convert a SACD to flac.

I like to convert a SACD to flac.
I have two ISO  SACD images.
When i open the ISO in Fb2 it shows 24 files. There are only 12 files on the first ISO according to info. What do i do wrong?  ::)
These extra 12 files are duplicates of the first 12.

Probably because there are stereo tracks and multichannel variants of the same tracks.

Have you tried running the conversion? My guess is that 12 tracks will convert and 12 will fail.

how do i resolve that ?
By looking at Properties of tracks. In playlist right click on track, then select Properties.

The SACD plugin can sometimes display two sets of tracks in a given ISO, if the ISO contains both stereo and surround mixes. As for track lengths, if you convert DSD to PCM, it needs to overlap the original cue points slightly to make the track ends line up. Of course, technically, it should be internally decoding the overlaps and then cutting them back off again when producing the output.

(The reason for this is because DSD is a delta encoding format, and being only a single bit of precision, must always start at a volume offset at the center of the waveform. To line up the track start to an approximation of the previous track's end, it needs to start decoding maybe ten seconds early, then discard the first ten seconds of resampled output. This should produce a fair approximation for gapless playback.)

Yes,
Stereo 2 channel and 5.1 channel.
I suppose there is no benefit to use 5.1 channel music files in a 2 channel stereo system. I want a 24Bit stereo file for my NAS station.

If you plan to do more of these, you might want to add a "Channels" column to your foobar2000 playlist window so you can more easily pick out the "stereo" files vs. multi-channel.  The column pattern is [%channels%]
