Auto-Play

After going from Windows 7 to Windows 10 I cannot get Foobar to auto-play. I chose as default player and associated files, however I cannot find Foobar in Auto-Play list. Thanks.

What exactly do you mean by auto-play? If you have associated files to foobar2000 and you haven't changed default action to enqueue under Shell Integration preferences, double clicking a file will automatically start playing the selected file. Also what do you mean by "Auto-Play list"?

Whenever I put in a cd I have to manually open Foobar. When I was running Windows 7 I selected Foobar as default player, associated the files and it would start whenever a disk was inserted that is what I am referring to as auto-play. I have tried to open control panel, go to autoplay to select Foobar to open with cd but it is not listed. Thanks.

In the foobar2000 menu, go to File > Preferences > Shell Integration. Enable "Set as the default audio CD player" and click Apply or OK.

That will add foobar2000 to the AutoPlay list in Windows. I just tried it, and it works for me.
That's so plausible, I can't believe it.
