Enhanced CDs. How to rip?

Hi everyone.
I'm in the process of backing up my CD collection by ripping it to lossless images, but when it comes to enhanced CDs (CD-Extra) I don't know how to properly do this.
EAC seems to rip the audio tracks only, and ImgBurn isn't working either (tried to create a .bin file without success).
Help needed, thanks.

Enhanced CDs just have a data section in addition to the normal audio section. You might be able to get an .iso file or similar with some program, but the easiest thing to do would be to navigate to the folder in your computer's file manager and make a zip file of the contents.

nothing i've ever found on an enhanced CD has been worth keeping. if you really want to keep it then just copy the files as suggested above.

The easy way: As slks and marc2003 allready mentioned, just copy the files to a folder. Usually its not worth to keep, most of the time just applications that will link you to a website - 3 years later the "service" stops anyway.

Thanks guys for your replies. I think the reason I can't do an .iso backup of the data portion (or copy/paste it) is because the CD is damaged. Bookmarking this thread for future reference though.

Here is one: http://www.hydrogenaud.io/forums/index.php...st&p=866222
Dan Swanö (death metal producer of semi-legendary status already at age of 25) was hit by label policies, so the CD is dynamically brickwalled; the label didn't care about that for vinyl releases, so he included the un-destroyed master as mp3 files.
Others have included bonus tracks - different mixes such - as data, and more often: videos.

Not to mention that the record industry has attempted to infect you with malware this way. Can't live without it!

My god, I had forgotten about videos coming on CDs. This used to be a bit of a thing more than a decade ago, with like 640x480 videos. Seems so out of place these days.

I remember going to shady IRC channels to download music videos at ISDN speeds.
