compare DSF and DFF, DSF and DSDIFF file formats

Hello every body.
Can some one please explain the difference between DSF and DFF file formats.

My understanding is DSD+DSF header = DSF
and DSD+DSDIFF header = DFF

Is my understanding correct?

Here's the DSDIFF spec: DSDIFF_1.5_Spec.pdf
DSF: DSFFileFormatSpec_E.pdf
