Save playlist as .m3u or .m3u8 always first choice instead of .fpl.

When saving playlists how does one make foobar2000 have .m3u8 has "default" choice. It is annoying to have to click the dropdown and choose it from the three choices. It always defaults to .fpl. Hopefully I haven't missed something in the settings.

I've been able to change what the dropdown's first choice is by using a hex editor on the foobar2000.exe file. It is the second instance of fpl. Changing it to m3u caused it to use m3u as 1st choice for playlist saving. For saving as .m3u8 I had to edit it and the words after it. In the following the ... are, I think, empty spaces, or 00 in hex.

.fpl.Save Playlist... 

is changed to 

.m3u8.Save Playlist..

I had to shift the Save Playlist over 1 space, so then there is only two .. trailing afterwards. 

A side effect of this is there is no choice for .fpl playlists anymore, and two choices for m3u8. I assume the m3u hex edit did the same for .m3u.

Newly released foobar2000 v1.3.3 now remembers the last used format. Thanks for the feedback.

Cool! I tried it out and it works like I want it to. With the hex edited foobar I couldn't load .fpl files that I had from previous.

Thanks for the tip. I just updated to v1.3.3 and it remembered m3u. I didn't want to get into hex editing.
