Mp3gain—What are the meanings of/differences between track/album gain?

hello i just use mp3gain recently i dont understand the diferences between Volume and Album Volume
for Volume how can i make all of them the same say all = 95.0? i use Track Gain and they keep lower or higher than each other?
for Album Volume when i use Album Gain they all reach the same volume but im not sure if this worked?

will the Album Volume work if all my songs from different album?

Track gain will adjust every track to a reference level so that all tracks have the same loudness relative to each other. Each track will need a different amount of adjustment to reach the reference level. Album gain adjusts the volume of each track as much as possible towards the reference level while keeping the relative volume of each track in regard to the other tracks consistent, i.e. if one track is louder than the other tracks before you apply gain to a particular batch of tracks from the same album, that track will still be louder than the other tracks after you apply album gain to all of them. If you apply track gain, volume differences between tracks will be lost. Album gain is often used for classical music, where people are likely to want to preserve the relative loudness of different tracks but want to make the loudness of the album match the loudness of their other albums as much as possible.

Please title your threads descriptively, rather than just going ‘Question about X’. It doesn’t take an inordinate amount of time nor typing for you to specify what that question actually is.
