Tagging Lyrics to .mp3 files

Hello,
I'm kind of new with Foobar2000 1.3 beta 7. How can someone tag the lyrics to the mp3 files, so when I go to put the mp3 files on my mother's iPod, they lyrics will be shown when playing the songs with the iPod. BTW, my mother has an iPod Touch 2nd generation with iOS 4.2.1. I know it's an old iPod, but it's going to be a Christmas gift.
Thank You.

foobar only supports unsynchronised lyrics tags (aka USLT frames) as far as the id3 specs are concerned, AFAIK. You can add lyrics by using UNSYNCED LYRICS (including the space) as the field name when adding tags via foobar's Properties window. I don't believe there is any way to automatically write lyrics to a file's tags with foobar, which is what i suspect you're really asking.

In regards to iPods and the like, someone else will have to offer an answer.

EDIT:

I spoke too soon. It appears that foo_uie_lyrics3 can save lyrics to tags, but I've never used the feature so.....

foo_uie_lyrics3 can do all you asking to do...
It also can download lyrics for all songs in your library or playlist at once, and add them to tag.
