Any ABX Comparator in the market?

My friend is building a listening test setup complying with [a href="http://"http://www.itu.int/rec/recommendation.asp?type=items&lang=e&parent=R-REC-BS.1116-1-199710-I"" target="_blank"]ITU-R BS.1116-1 as much as possible[/a].

I've just checked with QSC Audio for an ABX comparator, but it turned out they stopped manufacturing the device in 2004. Does anyone know if there's any ready-made ABX Comparators in the market currently? If nobody's making one, is there any high-quality(as good as the ready-made) DIY ABX comparator solutions available??

There is a complete schematic of the origional ABX Comparator in the Clark JAES article.

High-Resolution Subjective Testing Using a Double-Blind Comparator
JAES Volume 30 Issue 5 pp. 330-338; May 1982
A system for the practical implementation of double-blind audibility tests is described. The controller is a self-contained unit, designed to provide setup and operational convenience while giving the user maximum sensitivity to detect differences. Standards for response matching and other controls are suggested as well as statistical methods of evaluating data. Test results to date are summarized

Not even a single company is manufacturing an ABX comparator currently? I can't believe this.. What has happened to the objectivism in the audio industry??

I happen to have the article.  I've scanned a whole bunch of JAES journals some month ago from my school library, and the article you just mentioned is among them. You're right! Fig. 5 on p.335 is the complete schematic diagram of an ABX comparator. Thnx for the reminder.

BTW Arny, I retrieved some of your great listening training samples from here:

However, most of the Dips, Pips & Tips samples seem to be lost:

If you still have the Dips, Pips & Tips samples, would you mind sharing those with me? I am going to recommend my friend to use the training samples to train listeners prior to the main test.
