masstagger freezes foobar

Just as the title of this thread says, every once in a while my foobar freezes when using masstagger. I've tried uninstalling and cleanly reinstalling, deleting the programs folder (which cleaned out my scripts too ). Still, it still freezes. When it freezes, it is not like a normal windows freeze where you have to go to the task manager to end the process, it simply closes when pressing the close button. It doesnt just happen when I am running scripts, it happens just when the window is up. It does not crash as soon as I open masstagger, sometimes it takes a while. Anyone know what the problem is?

No. More information please. Like your OS, foobar version and installed components (You can use the Copy button in Foobar Preferences -> Components).

I have got the same problem, but it only happens with me if I try to move my whole music collection (120gb) if it's just renaming or moving a smaller part it works perfectly. Ooh and btw the moving or renaming works but after masstagger did this I get the same problem as greenfoot.
I don't have foo_dop so...

masstagger freezes foobar

I think your right, it just froze for me without foo_dop installed. Its frustrating because all the modifications I make to my files revert back to their previous state after the crash. It must be something either inherently flawed in foobar or it must be conflicting with another program.

Okay, I just singled it out to foobar2k because it froze with no other processes in the background (except the services and system processes) and without components that I had installed. I'm not sure what could be freezing it, but the freezes happen each time I use the masstagger. Foobar puts nothing in the registry that could cause it. There's not much in the appdata folder, but maybe something there? I have 3 dlls in my foobar programs folder, shared.dll, libpng.dll, and zlib.dll. Do I need others?

Please, any help would be greatly appreciated!

You could try SYSINTERNALS ProcessExplorer to determinate which thread of foobar has high cpu load. Use google to find a download to that program.

In process overview (shown when program just has been started) doubeclick on foobar to see all threads of foobar.

just tried it, and at the crash point, no thread is using any CPU. I get this
