Sony Mini HiFi with 2.1 speakers , hooked up to PC

hi team ...... my mum has a Sony Mini HiFi CD player that has 2.1 speakers (not S/P Dif)..... when i connect her PC up to it.... the Subwoofer has very low output and the 2 fronts dont sound right......... i think i need a PC app software that outputs to 2.1 multichannel

i use Winamp , ASIO for ALL , and FLAC audio

any help is sweet
