Problem with playing songs

Hi All

This is my number one bug  with the best PLAYER for windows

Example:

Sinéad O'Connor in filename or in path wil not play when streaming from my WWW server.

in console I get error opening file for playback :

Ip addr is removed from path..
Same thing happen for all characters that is in my native language.
I can not open the file to read tags and so on.

Please ask any questions, I want this to work...

I imagine you can download the file from the server okay?

Yupp the song plays on server localy and after download.

Okie, then it is the server,,,,no,no.
The bad microsoft product is playing them in a nice, way..
So it is something in the way foobar is handling strings.

Please is there any developer that is willing to make improvment on
BASIC functionality, please.....

This seems to be a problem with how your server handles (or expects the client to handle) international characters. Maybe it would help if you could route your browser (and foobar2000's) HTTP requests through a logging proxy and share the request and response headers with us. An example would be to use The Proxomitron, and display the Log Window, which will conveniently only display the headers and/or filters.

Thanx for replying!!!!!!   

Will ethereal Network analyzer on client side be equaly good??
Also Windows Media Player is handling the characters well...

Is not "Sinéad O'Connor" Irish ???
Foobar don't like here name, also !!!

BUT it is true non off my country's national characters is approved.

With  "Sinéad O'Connor" it was the "é" that made the problem...
I'm not good in Irish spelling anyway so I can live with it....
So she is now.... Sinead O'Connor sorry 

But my national characters is more important for me..
