HRHD questions

Hello, 
 
I have a question that bothers me since one moment. 
I know the HD format: 
1080i that correspond to 1920*1080 points in interlocking and the 720p / 1280*720 points in progressive mode. 
But what represents the half resolution, if it's a resolution of 960*528?
