On a completely superficial note, is anyone using any cool (windows) icons to differentiate files of the various compressed formats?  I have MP3, OGG, MPC and APE files on my system, but I hate them all using the same generic Winamp icon.

I use mp3ext on my computer.

It changes the icon to desplay the bitrate for mp3s. (But it only works for mp3s.)

You could of cource force it by deleting the old winamp associations and creating new ones for every format...and selection your own icons.

Check out my icons & cursors (Audio set) ... I use the yellow/red/purple/blue one for MP3, the green/blue one for OGG, the gold one for MPC, the silver one for AAC, and the cassette for WMA.

Thanks NRen, those look pretty good.  I'll give them a try.
