Digital research CD-RW drive?

im thinking of getting one, as it is quite cheap for a 40x burner... are they any good (or any bad?) or anything i should know about the "Digital Research" brand?

Digital Research Technologies isn't a company that's known for top-quality products or support; they may be okay at best. In any case, you can read various comments about their 40/12/48 CD-RW drive over at this link.
