WMP 10

Downloaded the new WMP10 yesterday and ripped some music with it @ VBR 50-95kbs. Sound quality is quite bad really, and played it in foobar, and says it is WMA 7/8. Is it foobar or what?

That 'new' WMP10 is just in technical beta stage yet: <[a href="http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/mp10]http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/mp10[/url]>.

Yeah, sorry should have made myself a bit clearer. didnt have much time when i posted, I know the WMP 10 is beta, but i was just wondering if they had updated the enoder in this beta... obviously not. I know not to encode in wma! dont worry, i know! iv been coming here for about a year now, and definately know enough to say wma is not very good.
