Hi,
I think that a volume control will be very usefull on Foobar2000.

What does You think?

there is one,  use the - and + either on the numpad or just the top keys, but i would like a visual volumebar

Preferences - playback is the closest you're probably ever gonna get.

Someone could code up a visual volume bar extension, that would probably be pretty handy...

the first rule of Volume Slider is you do not talk about--

IMHO a good non-obstrusive approach to the volume slider is to make the wheel mouse modify the volume when scolling hovering the volume zone in the status bar.

If you feel like changing UIs, foo_tunes has a volume bar.
