WiMP File Associations

Well, I've tried everything I know of; I've messed with file associations in Explorer, I've told Windows to "Open with" Media Player Classic "always"; I've told Winamp to steal the associations using Winamp Agent, but Windows still insists on using Media Player to play my .SVCD files. MPC is the only player that'll actually handle them properly, yet I cannot get it to take the association, and there are some other formats that Media Player will not relinquish to anything.

Any solutions?
