Youre right, it is caused also by the fact that the black is not black there.. I'll make darker versions.

Here's another idea:
(transient should be brighter/yellow-isher).
Let's suppose that rain washes out a picnic. Who is feeling negative? The rain? Or YOU? What's causing the negative feeling? The rain or your reaction? - Anthony De Mello
