FB2k Suggestion

Hey. Since FB2k is constantly being worked on, I had a few suggestions. One of which is that for the installer version you should incorporate the option to assosiate mp3s with them and if they click on that, than there should be an icon for each mp3s that shows it uses FB2k (i hate double-clicking my mp3s that still have the winamp lightning bolt and having to first set it up by right clicking and setting it to run with FB2k and to always use the program). And as far as the non-installer version, you could put preferences to assosiate these files. The other (and last) suggestion that would greatly improve FB2k is to put an option in prefs. to keep fb2k minimized even when u double click mp3s. I hate having the FB2k screen fly up and i have to manually minimize it to taskbar (minimize button). Other than that, I honestly can't think of any other flaws. Keep up THE GREAT WORK FB2k developers!!!!! (I will not go back to Winamp ever again after this experience)

both of these options are there...

on the foobar preferences, try to un-check "Bring to front when adding files from the command line".  It's under the "Core" panel.

as for the assosciations, the option is in the installer.  Just make sure the ":B" in the box next to "File Associations" is black, rather than grey (just click it once).

right it does have the file assosiations i agree but, i was primarily implying that they need their own icon on each file (like winamp puts lightning bolts next to each mp3) to show assosiation with its player. Thanks for replying too you shocked me on the suggestions. Other than the icon it is PERFECT!

Like spase said, it already does.      All my mp3s have their own cool foobar icon, playlists have their own, etc.  They look different, too.  Neato.

try installing audioicon pack for some decent icons... not foobar specific though.

Well there IS a cool icon for the files. AND -- it comes with the installer! I think you should try changing your file associations in Winamp..
