Help Determining Two Codec

I did an ABX test in foobar between the latest Nero AAC and Lame mp3 3.98.2. I ripped the cd to flac then encoded them to mp3 and nero AAC.
Both are using VBR.
In the properties, Lame Mp3 shows 93 Bitrate and AAC 103 bitrate.

^  Im assuming the test is done, by deciding if X sounds like B or A or if Y sounds like A or B.
I dunno how to draw the conclusion of which codec is best for me. =o
I chose the song from the Female dual band called M2M - Pretty Boy. Its kinda embarassing song title but thats irrelvelant.
Im kinda confused, if anyone can help me draw a conclusion to the numbers above and which of the two codecs would be great.

People told me MP3 was best, and some told me AAC had higher quality, so I tested both, but dunno which scored higher for me.

ABX tests determine if you can tell a difference between two files.  Usually one uses them to compare lossy and lossless, not two lossy files.

This isn't really the right test to determine that, but from these results you apparently were not able to distinguish the two files reliably, so either might be good for you (at least for this particular sample).

=D thanks Mike.
Thanks for the info. I can't really tell the diff between the two. So I will most likely just flip a coin to decide which format to use.

=o now I know more about ABX testing, so its mainly just for lossy to lossless testing.
