Problem with Replaygain

Hi.
I recently tried to use ReplayGain on one of my albums and found unpleasantly that the --auto switch does not work on my computer with any mpc. This is the link to a screenshot of the problem: http://www.dologan.f2s.com/replaygainerror.gif. My computer becomes highly unstable after this and even freezes if I try to restart it as a civilised person. I am running WinME and replaygain and mppdec are the ones included in the 0.98z2 package available at Frank Klemm's site.
At first I thought my mppdec could be somehow corrupted, since it crashed right when the "Execute .mppdec bla bla bla" line appears on screen, however I used this line independently with mppdec and no problem occurs, the song is simply played:
mppdec --silent --scale 0.5 --gain 0 --raw - - < "radiohead-fitter_happier.mpc"

I know this is most probably a local problem of mine, but I am clueless as to what could be causing it. Has anybody here got a similar problem? Does anyone have an idea about what could be wrong? Can anybody give me any suggestions that I could try to make it work?
Thanks,

~Dologan

P.S. This is off-topic, but how do you put the nice pictures under the names on the left column of the posts?

I have no idea what could be causing this. Everything works fine with me. If nothing else works, you should consider contacting Frank:
